Paris Fashion Week features

Paris Fashion Week has come and gone, denoting the finish of a long fashion month, and was full of stunning moments — and a few astonishments including crashers and pranksters. Here are five features fresh from France.

Cardi B’s outfits

This week in Paris, the rapper’s style tricks were the gifts that continued giving. In spite of the fact that she began (relatively) in incognito in Richard Quinn’s covered flower number at the Eiffel Tower, Cardi turned it up in a Thom Browne peplum, padded number at the designer’s show. She later played with blended prints, layering an Aliette bodysuit underneath an Edda jacket. Cardi sizzled in hung purple smaller than normal dress from Nicolas Jebram (styled with matching boots), yet her triumphant look was a highly contrasting tweed pantsuit (from Karl Lagerfeld’s last accumulation for Chanel) that she wore first row at the celebrated French house’s runway appear on Tuesday. Boss.

Exposed bras are the following spring’s sleeper hit

Keep in mind when naked dresses appeared racy? For the trend-setter who dares to bare, her cup runneth over with choices for spring: regardless of whether it’s shimmery (at Givenchy), flower appliqued crochet (at Dior) or sheer (at Loewe), bras have never been progressively out there.

OG supermodels recovered the runways

Gigi, Bella and Kaia walked more outstanding Parisian shows than any time in recent memory this season, yet much increasingly critical was the amount of OG “supers” (that is short for supermodels) who showed up on the catwalk: Naomi Campbell coolly shut Saint Laurent in a dark sequin pantsuit, while Amber Valetta and Eva Herzigova swaggered down the Isabel Marant runway in the designer’s easy boho threads. What’s more, German supermodel Nadja Auermann – who once held the Guinness Book of Records guarantee to being the model with the longest legs – made an epic return at Balenciaga.

Celebrity sightings were (properly) fashionable late

Bold faced named packed first lines later in the week than normal this season, yet they turned up in any case: A$AP Rocky took in Loewe’s widely praised runway introduction while Kris Jenner caused being a fandom mania at Balmain. Maisie Williams held hands with her boyfriend at Givenchy, while Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel shut during the week front row at Louis Vuitton’s show at the Louver.

Dresses are groundbreaking for spring

The larger-than-life metallic bouncy gowns at Balenciaga are proof. That’s it in a nutshell.
